Built in the 18th century by the Safavid dynasty, Kajeh Rabi tomb is located on the Kashafrood River at the northern edge of the Mashhad city. The dome is made up of two layers, the outer shell made of turquoise colored tiles and the inner part is decorated with golden drawings. The dome is 18 meters high. The gardens include one of Mashhad’s important cemeteries.
This mausoleum is octagonal in shape and houses many rooms, large halls and porticos styled in intricate and unique oriental architecture.
